CANNING CLASSES

Classes are taught by Rita Sleys, owner of Rosemont Inn in Utica. She has been canning since she was a child and is eager to pass on the techniques she has been using to "put up" food for her family for years. All canning classes are taught at the commercial kitchen at Rosemont Inn (1423 Genesee St in Utica). Canning classes are all $25.

COOKING CLASSES

Classes are taught by Cat Macera, food blogger, expert home chef and local food enthusiast. Visit her blog here, and sign up for a class to meet her and gain some of her expertise! All cooking classes are taught at the commercial kitchen at RCIL (1607 Genesee St) in Utica and are brought to you by The Foodshed Utica and Slow Food Mohawk Valley. Cooking classes are $15 for non-members, or $10 for members of either organization.
